A Little Bit About Me
David English, Bachelor's of Science in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Going on 10 years of experience in the Media Arts field.I was born in Bristol, PA. I am the oldest of 3. My love for art can be traced back as early as Kindergarten when I drew Mickey Mouse using coins to create the circles of his body. I moved to Florida when I was 7 and spent most of my childhood there. While in FL, I became inspired to read and draw comic books. When I was 14, my Mom moved us to Tennessee, which is where I ended up graduating High School from. After I turned 18, I moved back to Pennsylvania to be near my Father's family and enrolled at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. While I was there, I learned how to become a Digital Artist and Animator.
Since I graduated college, I have worked on many different projects. I have worked on a few Emmy Award winning shows for HBO: Classical Baby, The Poetry Show, and A Child's Garden of Poetry. I have also worked on animated shorts for Sesame Street, Scholastic, and Fisher-Price. I have also created hundreds of videos for both large and small businesses. Some as short as 30 seconds. Other videos as along as 15+ minutes in length. I love Video Editing!
I have a love for Movies and a new found love for Writing. I hope to one day write a script and see it go into production. My ultimate goal is to direct my own movie. When I was a kid, I dreamt of becoming an Astronaut and flying into space on the Space Shuttle. I hope that commercial Space Flights do take off and that I can take at least one trip before I die. It would be a dream come true.
My only hobbies these days are reading blogs, mostly sites on electronics. I also love Math, Science, History, Drawing, Comics, and my Son.

5s Are Wild was a startup MLM company looking to catch peoples' eyes and grab their attention.

Fathom wanted to brand itself as a hip, edgy, new startup with several different branches of services. The logo designs reflect each brand's name and focus.

TimeWorkx focus was fast, clean, efficient, time saving, business related, and money making opportunity for all.

CocoaSmart is a Nutritional Supplement containing Cocoa made by CocoaLife. This video was created as a way for representatives to advertise the product using their unique contact info at the end of the video.
Headlines Hair and Salon
This was a TV spot created for Headlines Hair and Salon.
Liberty Pathway Plan
:30 TV Spot created for Financial Liberty Partners and aimed to bring attention to their local Liberty Pathway Plan seminar. The 10+ minute video presentation for this seminar was also created by me and included a fully authored and stamped DVD with both videos that was handed out to attendies.
iBuzzPro Power
This was a webmercial designed to be delivered via email and/or website. It was for an MLM company.

FrutaVida
FrutaVida is a berry flavored health drink. This video was created as a way for representatives to advertise the product using their unique contact info on a specific webpage.
UltraLuster
This was a TV spot created for UltraLuster and was designed to allow custom contact info on the bottom of the video.

:60 TV Spot created for Buzzirk Mobile.
Vortex
This was a webmercial designed to be delivered via email and/or website. It was for an MLM company, 5s Are Wild.

Financial Liberty Partners
10+ minute video presentation created for Financial Liberty Partners for seminar they were holding. This video, along with a :30 TV spot, were included in a DVD that was created for each of the attendees.
Freedom Rocks
This was a presentation video explaining how the Freedom Rocks compensation plan works.
MVP
Presentation video developed for MVP to demonstrate how their compensation plan works.
Transfer to Neveda
This presentation video was developed, along with 3 other related videos, for a DVD about Business Taxes.

Pencil Tests and Professional Production ShortsI've worked on projects for HBO, Sesame Street, Scholastic, and Fisher-Price. These Professional Production Shorts were composited together during my tenure as a Digital Compositor at MaGiK world studios in Easton, PA. The pencil tests were projects I created while I was attending the Art Institute of Philadelphia.

My Final
"My Final" is an animated piece that I created as my last project in Animation 1. It had to incorporate several things that we had learned during the course of the class including squatch and stretch, walking, and morphing. It won Best of Quarter for Animation 1.
What Are You???
"What Are You???" is one of the most efficient pencil tests I have ever done. Only a total of 32 pages were created. Compare that to the 300+ required for "My Final".
4 Cycles
"4 Cycles" is a pencil test targeting 2 different walk cycles and 2 different run cycles.
Morph
"Morph" is a pencil test designed to morph an ice cream cone into a candle and back.

Video Editor, Just Rewind Digital studios - Philadelphia, PA - 2003-07/2010I created hundreds of Broadcast Quality Commercials for clients and company related materials. The videos I created can be seen on multiple media formats for maximum commercial impact. My videos have aired on TV, streamed over the web, and have been used on mass production DVDs - including discs I have authored myself.
